The Double Flanged Limit Expansion Joint is primarily composed of a body, sealing ring, gland plate, extension short pipe, and other key components. Based on the original performance of a loose sleeve expansion joint, a limit device is added and locked at the maximum extension/compression point with double nuts. The pipeline can freely expand and contract within the allowed range; once this range is exceeded, the limit function activates to ensure the pipeline's safe operation. It is particularly suitable for connections in pipelines subject to vibration, or with certain slopes and bends.

Product Installation

The Double Flanged Limit Expansion Joint is suitable for connection between flanges on both ends. During installation, adjust the connection length at both ends of the product relative to the flanges. Tighten the gland plate bolts evenly and diagonally in sequence, then adjust the limit nuts. This allows the pipeline to freely expand and contract within the specified range, locks the expansion/compression amount, and ensures safe pipeline operation. Suitable for pipelines flanged on both ends. During installation, adjust the installation length at both ends relative to the flanges, and evenly tighten the gland plate bolts diagonally to form an integrated unit with a certain displacement capacity. This facilitates adjustment based on site dimensions during installation or maintenance. During operation, it can transmit axial thrust back to the entire pipeline. It can reduce the pressure thrust (blind plate force) on connected parts and compensate for pipeline installation errors. The double flanged force-transmission joint cannot absorb axial displacement. Double flanged force-transmission joints are primarily used for the loose sleeve connection of pumps, valves, and other accessories.
