Product Introduction

The 02S404 Waterproof Sleeve is a type of penetration sleeve designed according to the Chinese Building Standard Atlas 02S404. It imposes strict requirements on pipe diameter, flange thickness, and internal/external dimensions, mandating full compliance with the 02S404 standard. Structurally, it is categorized into 02S404 Rigid Waterproof Sleeve and 02S404 Flexible Waterproof Sleeve. The flexible variant is primarily used in high-demand applications like civil defense walls and water tanks, while the rigid type is typically installed in basements where pipes pass through structures.

Installation Specifications: Used where pipes penetrate vibrating walls or structures requiring strict waterproofing. Post-fabrication, the sleeve’s exterior must be primed (red lead or cold asphalt primer). Final anti-corrosion treatment follows design specifications. When penetrating non-concrete walls, replace the wall section with concrete extending 200mm beyond the flange diameter (D6); the sleeve must be cast integrally with the wall. Minimum wall thickness at penetration point: 300mm. Thicken the wall if inadequate, extending ≥200mm beyond flange diameter (D6). Material weight calculations assume L=300mm wall thickness; recalculate for thicker walls.

Product Specifications

For corrosive media on the water-facing side, seal gaps with appropriate compounds.

At non-concrete penetration points, replace locally with concrete extending 200mm beyond flange diameter (D5); sleeve must be cast-in-place at one time.

Minimum concrete wall thickness: 300mm; otherwise, thicken one or both sides by ≥ D5+200mm diameter.

Weight based on L=300mm; recalculate for thicker walls.
